Alex Cano

Alex Cano, 74, passed away peacefully October 15, 2021. Alex was born October 10,1947 in San Angelo, TX to L.D. and Bernice Cano. He had a big heart and loved his family and friends. Alex was preceded in death by his father L.D. Cano, his nephew Alex Cano, and his great-nephew Patryck Garza. Alex is survived by his mother Bernice Cano, his siblings Lucy (Modesto) Gutierrez of Mansfield, Rose (Eddie) Salcido, and David Cano of San Angelo, Cindy Curtis of Flower Mound whom he considered a daughter, six nephews and nieces, and nine great nephews and nieces: and a larger extended family. A rosary service will be held at 6:00 pm Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Harper Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am Friday, October 22, 2021 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Trevino, Ray Zapata, Gumisindo Garcia, Pedro “Petey” Garcia, Robert Villareal , Roy Flores, and Joe Flores.
