Antonio Sandoval, Jr. 73, of San Angelo, Texas went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, in San Angelo. Antonio was born February 25, 1948, in Harlingen, Texas to Antonio and Guadalupe Ibabes Sandoval. Antonio grew up in Harlingen, TX and attended Harlingen High School. He left school to take care of his family working numerous jobs until deciding that being a mechanic was his life choice. Antonio owned and operated T&C Automotive for over 35 years until his retirement. He remained a consultant to his family business until his death. Antonio married Genoveva Becerra on September 20th, 1980, and they shared 42 beautiful years together. Antonio was a loving husband, father and grandfather who devoted his life to his family and his business. He had an incredible love and talent for music. He trained on guitar and Bajo Sexto guitar and eventually started his band Los Conquistadors Del Rey. He was also self-taught on keyboards and had a great singing voice. In his spare time, he wrote songs, poems, and children’s stories and enjoyed sharing them with his family. Music wasn’t his only talent. Antonio could fix anything and loved doing projects. He built his own mechanic shop and opened up for business. He would create the tools he needed in his garage when a specialty tool was called for. Antonio was a great conversationalist and had an incredible sense of humor which gained him many friends over the years.
