Caden Lane Williams

Caden Lane Williams, age 18, passed away on May 1 ^st , 2022 at Methodist Children’s Hospital in San Antonio, TX surrounded by close family and friends. He had the most amazing smile that lit up any room he rolled into and an infectious laugh that would brighten anyone’s day. The simplest pleasures in life brought Caden great joy. He loved music, playing with his brothers, movies, and walks with his mom and dad. He loved his music therapy, massage therapy and sharing time at school with his amazing teachers. As a toddler, Caden was diagnosed with a mitochondrial disorder and only given a couple of years to live. In the true form of the fighter he was, he gave his family 16 more years of happiness and joy. He is now free of his earthly burdens. He is running and playing on the streets of gold!

Caden is survived by his parents, Jeremy and Vicki (Lee) Williams and brothers Parker and Jackson Williams of San Angelo, Texas, grandparents Don and Pat Lee of Lake Coleman, Texas, Jerry and Sharon Williams of Lovington, New Mexico, and Lynda Goff of Lubbock, Texas. He is also survived by aunts and uncles: Kim and Bryan Dieterich, Rhonda Richardson, Carter and Talley Williams and Kay and Allen Grippin, plus many cousins.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Harper Funeral Home and a funeral service will be held Friday, May 6, 2022 at 10:00 am at Sierra Vista United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Caden Williams memorial fund at First Financial Bank of San Angelo to establish a memorial scholarship in Caden’s name.
