Charlotte Ann Mcguire

Charlotte Ann McGuire, age 73, of San Angelo, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 5, 2021. Services will be held on Saturday, October 9th, at 2:00 pm at Harper Funeral Home, with graveside services immediately to follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Charlotte was born on June 5, 1948 to Lloyd and Selma McGuire in San Angelo, TX. She began working at GTE as an operator and finished her career in accounts payable, retiring after 25 years. When her niece and nephews were young Charlotte enjoyed taking them to wrestling matches at the San Angelo coliseum. She was also a life-long fan of and loved all things “Elvis”. Charlotte is preceded in death by her father Lloyd McGuire, her mother Selma McGuire, her brother Wayne McGuire, and brother-in-law Jesse Hicks. She is survived by sister Betty Hicks, sister-in-law Judy McGuire, nephews Dennis McGuire (Brandy), Brian McGuire (Jennifer), Devin Hicks (Tommie), and niece Genea Neble. She is also survived by 10 great-nephews and her life-long best friend Sandy Dunn. Pallbearers will be the great nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Brayden Park and Kindred Hospice for their compassionate and loving care of Charlotte. Charlotte died of cancer, but wouldn’t want a child to. In lieu of flowers, the family requests your consideration of donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
