Dorothy Ann Williams

Dorothy Ann Williams, 79, of San Angelo, Texas went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 15, 2022. Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m., Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Harper Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 19, 2022 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Ann was born on June 15, 1943, to Dorothy (Jones) and Gerald W. Nelms in San Angelo, TX. She had one brother, Gerald W. Nelms. She attended San Jacinto Elementary School, graduated from Central High School and earned her Associates in Journalism at San Angelo College. She worked at Olives Nursery and Standard Times Newspaper. She worked at Taylor Publishing Company for 22 years as head of the proofreading department. Ann enjoyed volunteering at the San Angelo Visitor’s Center for several years. She was a longtime member of Christian Church of San Angelo. Ann met her husband Paul on a blind date in San Angelo in 1963. They were married on January 12, 1964 and enjoyed 58 wonderful years together. She was preceded in death by her parents and her older brother. Ann is survived by her loving husband, Paul Williams; daughters, Laurel Wiggin and Becky Riemenschneider and husband, Jimmy; sister-in-law, Shirley Nelms; grandchildren, Meagan Paulovkin and husband, Jason, Katie Wiggin and James Riemenschneider; great grandson, Samuel Paulovkin and numerous nieces and nephews.
