Eva Jo Brown

Eva Jo Brown, 89, was guided home by our Heavenly Father on September 24, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones. Eva Jo was born to Milton and Myrtle Reding on February 4, 1932 in Killeen, Texas. She grew up in Killeen with her younger siblings Kenneth and Sandra and graduated from Killeen High School. She married the love of her life, Jesse Brown Jr., on May 18th, 1962. Eva Jo worked as a book keeper for TXU and Killeen Insurance, but her passion lied within her family. She was a great mother, a wonderful wife, and she was always there to support her family. After Jesse and Eva Jo retired they loved to travel and visit as many places as they could together. Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her Parents, and Husband of 41 years, Jesse Brown Jr. Eva Jo is survived by her three Children: Sandra Fender and husband James, Shawn Brown, Stephanie Owens and husband Marshall; Grandchildren: Nicole Fender, Danielle Fender, Cole Owens, Bailey Owens, Ryen Brown, Hannah Owens; and a great-grandchild, her “Sunshine”, Ashlyn Jessie Fender. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Alzheimer’s association in honor of Eva Jo. A graveside service will be held at Brown Okay Cemetery in Killeen, TX at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.
