Kenneth Zane Shipman was born to Bill and Gladys Shipman on August 23rd, 1933 in Knickerbocker, TX. Kenneth moved to San Angelo in grammar school with his parents and two sisters, Klomah and Marie. In high school, Kenneth played football and was a boxer. He loved the outdoors, raising horses, goats, and his dogs. Most of all Kenneth loved his family. Kenneth is survived by his wife Anne Shipman, son Zane and wife Chris, daughter Robin Jenkins and husband Vance. Six grandchildren: Trey, Justin and wife Caitlin, Garrett, Lauren, Lindsey and husband Tyler, and Lexee. Four great grandchildren Sophia, Jade, Jack and Calan. Kenneth is also survived by two step-sons JD Doyle and wife Charlyn, Mike Doyle and wife Julie and their children and grandchildren. Kenneth worked in sales for 45 years before retiring in 2004. He was always loyal to those he knew and loved. He was a man with strong faith and a kind and gentle spirit. One of his favorite passages was Psalm 23.
