Lawrence (Larry) W. Pearson

Lawrence (Larry) W. Pearson was welcomed home to the loving arms of Jesus on April 26, 2017. Larry was a loving and faithful husband to Cathie Jo Sipe Pearson for almost 53 years. His children, Kevin Pearson and Cherie Pearson, were greatly loved and adored by their father. Larry is also survived by his sister Elizabeth (Babe) Chandler and brother Paul Pearson. Larry loved and held with great esteem for his family of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Larry was born July 19, 1937 in Mt. Vernon, WA to Walfred and Helen Pearson. He spent 34 years honorably and gladly serving his country in the military. He started in the Air Naval Reserve, transitioned to active duty Air Force and ended his career in the Air Force Reserves. By the time he retired he had achieved the prestigious rank of Chief Master Sergeant. Larry was a kind man and a friend to all he met, he knew no strangers. He was generous to a fault and had compassion towards others. He especially loved the animals his family had owned through the years. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Lawnhaven Cemetery at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the VFW or Wounded Warrior Project.
