Pat L. Brody

Pat L. Brody, 66, passed away on April 18, 2021, surrounded by family, Pat Brody was called home by his Lord and Savior. Pat was born December 15, 1954 in Lanstuhl Germany, to Jack and Lillian Brody. Pat spent 8 years in the U.S. Army, serving his country. His duty stations included Ft. Carson Colorado, Ft. Wainwright, Alaska, and Ft. Ord, California. Honorably discharged, he began a career in auto parts for the next 40 years. Pat touched many lives and had an impact on all whom God chose to put in his path. He married the love of his life, Debbie Laxson on May 18, 1974 in Fowler, Colorado. They were blessed with 3 wonderful children. His family is left with many memories of family vacations. He was their little league coach, football fan, transportation to weightlifting meets, and super-hero. He is survived by Debbie his wife of 46 years. Son, Aaron Ray Brody and wife Heidi. Son, Patrick Steven Brody and wife Kristy. All residing in San Angelo. Daughter, Cathy Jo Calder and husband Daryl, who reside in Midland. Grandchildren: Austin Hensley and wife Haley. Jordan Calder. Jacob and Levi Brody. AJ and Shelby Lamb. Sister, Delores Wiederspahn residing in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Numerous nieces and nephews. Numerous great nieces and nephews. Pat was preceded in death by his father and mother, Jack and Lillian Brody, brother Michael Brody and great grand baby Hensley. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday April 21, 2021 at Glen Meadows Baptist Church with Pastor Mack Roller officiating. Burial will follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are with Harper Funeral Home. Pallbearers: Patrick, Jacob and Levi Brody, Daryl and Jordan Calder, Austin Hensley, Tony Laxson, and TJ Stewart. Honorary Pallbearers: Aaron Brody, Jess Buck, and AJ Lamb. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Concho Hearts Hospice for their excellent guidance and care during a time of need. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at Harper Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00pm. Funeral Service will be at 2:00pm on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Glen Meadows Baptist Church. Burial to follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
