Robert James Hermesmeyer

Robert "Bob" Hermesmeyer passed away December 26, 2020 at the age of 83 in San Angelo, Tx. at New Haven Assisted Living. He was born on August 21, 1937 in Groom, Tx. to parents Charles and Theresa Hermesmeyer. After he graduated from Groom High School he served 4 years in the Air Force. Went on to work for Bell Helicopter in Amarillo, Tx. Retired from Air Force Civil Service in Del Rio, Tx. After retirement he moved back to Amarillo where he enjoyed time with family. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Earnest and Gerald and a sister, Marilyn. He is survived by brothers Gene and Martin. He is also survived by his son Michael and wife Renea and grandson Robert. His daughter Catherine Keller and grandsons Jaxon and Lincoln. He always had a smile and helping hand for anyone and everyone. There will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association. ALZ.org
