Roy Dan Wagner

Roy Dan Wagner “Danny” of Mertzon, Texas passed away on Sunday, August 14th, 2022. Roy was born on May 22nd, 1956, to Mike and Nancy Wagner. He Graduated from Central high school in 1974. Roy learned how to weld from his father and worked for him at Wagner Enterprises. He also worked at Shelton oil and gas, and Perez Fencing. Roy was always willing to help, especially with his baby sister Catherine who he taught how to drive on the back roads by Sherwood, Texas. If he was up to an adventure, she was following close behind. He was also a unique artist. Roy is preceded in death by his parents, Mike Henry Wagner Jr., and Nancy B. Ferriott. Roy is survived by his sister, Catherine A. Wagner of San Angelo and brother’s Joe T. Wagner of Mertzon, Jim B. Wagner (wife Helen) of Colorado. His nieces Stephanie Lendecky and husband Brian of Lakeway, Susan Yell of San Angelo, Amber Wisdom of Colorado, and a nephew Aaron Wagner. Also survived by cousins: Cindy, Terry, Sherry, and Bill. Along with special friends: Pastor Mark and Tino Perez A memorial fund has been set up at The First National Bank of Mertzon. The family would want to thank Concho Hearts Hospice, Medway Medical equipment and especially Pastor Mark Krause and the congregation at First United Methodist Church Mertzon. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 27th, 2022, at 10:00 am at Harper Funeral Home in San Angelo, Texas.
