Thomas “Eston” Hollis, 78, died Friday, December 7, 2018. Always knowing the love of Christ, he was a hard worker, kind, gentle and most optimistic husband, father and friend. Born September 27, 1940, to Earl Hollis and Lucille Butler, Eston was raised in Big Spring, Texas. He married the love of his life, Alta Faye Carpenter on May 14, 1965. Eston and Faye moved to San Angelo, Texas in 2010, to watch their grandchildren grow up, finding a new church home at Southland Baptist Church with many friends. Survivors include wife Faye Hollis of San Angelo, Texas, daughter Tanya Pfluger and husband Reid of San Angelo, Texas, three grandchildren: Zachary Pfluger of Houston, Texas, Allyson Pfluger of Austin, Texas and Trisha Pfluger of San Angelo, Texas.
