Alissa Amor Gomez

Our precious angel, Alissa Amor Gomez, went safely into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, August 12, 2017. Alissa was born December 22, 2009 in San Angelo, Texas to Jeriah Gomez and Cynthia Corona. She attended Bowie Elementary and made many friends at school. Alissa loved painting, arts and crafts and swimming. Most of all she loved Jesus, and had an incredible strength and perseverance that most anyone wished they could have. Regardless of her circumstances in her battle, she always had a smile on her face, and would light up the room wherever she went. She was truly the epitome of strength and grace and courage. Although for too short of a time, her life and love for everyone and Jesus will remain in our hearts forever. We will dearly miss you Alissa, and we will carry you with us always! Alissa is once again united forever with her father Jeriah, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her Grandparents, Brooke and Jerry Gomez, of San Angelo, Sonia and Ramon Fuentes, of San Angelo and Albert Garcia, of Divide, TX; her Mother, Cynthia Corona, of San Angelo; her Brothers, Jeriah Gomez, Jr. and Keano Gomez, both of San Angelo; her Aunts, Kalina Garcia and Alex, of Odessa, TX, Sonia Garcia, of San Angelo, Leah Diaz, of San Angelo and Anna Ramsey, of San Angelo; her Uncles, Santiago Garcia, of San Angelo, Albert Garcia, of San Angelo, Ely Gomez, of San Angelo and Ryan Von Willer, of San Angelo. She is also survived by numerous cousins, other family members and many close friends. The viewing will be 8:00 A.M. – 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Harper Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Word of Life Assembly of God Church with Pastor Julian Falcon officiating.
