Billie LuRene Allen Jacoby, born in San Angelo, Texas on January 22, 1934 to Robert Durward Allen and Maud OCB Holder Allen, went to be with her Heavenly Father on June 6, 2017 at the age of 83 years 5 months and a few days. LuRene graduated from Eola High School in May 1951, where she earned the rank of Salutatorian and was voted the Most Beautiful of her class. She married Marvin D. "Jackie" Jacoby on August 2, 1952. She began her career in banking at San Angelo National Bank in 1951 and retired from banking at Wells Fargo Bank around 1996, where she made lifelong friends. As a Charter Member of Sierra Vista United Methodist Church, she provided a wonderful example of her Christian faith through her many volunteer activities at SVUMC. Widowed at the age of 32, she was still the quintessential mother. She sewed, baked, chaperoned, hauled kids to and from and still worked like no other. No one could have had a better mother than this. Her contributions to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren provided the support, love, and guidance they needed in order to succeed. She was a fierce protector of her family and worked tirelessly to provide for them. She believed in God, family, and love above all else and instilled those values in her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter, Sherry Diane Jacoby Parker, her brother, Travis Allen, a special nephew, Monte D. Allen, and an aunt that was like a mother to her, Lorene Holder Stokes. She is survived by daughter Kathy Booth and husband Gary of San Angelo, son Steven Jacoby and wife Melissa of Grant Valkerie, FL, grandchildren, Tiffany Parker DeVivo and husband Fernando of Redlands, CA, Shea Swanson and fiancé, Tyson Paxton of San Angelo, Jeremy Swanson and wife Wendy of Granbury, Brannon Jacoby and wife Kim of Pasadena, MD, Allie Zamora and significant other Adam Lauzon of Melbourne, FL, Jennifer Booth Stinson of San Angelo, Kristin Booth of Irving, Sheatara Johnson of Winter Park, FL.
