Carolyn Sue Harriss

Carolyn Sue Harriss, 73 of San Angelo, Texas died on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at Tennova Healthcare-Dyersburg Regional in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Born Thursday, September 29, 1943, in Owensboro, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Henry Clay King and the late Dorothy King. She worked as a Voter Register for the Election Commission. She is survived by her husband, James R. Harriss of San Angelo, Texas; five daughters, Dorothy Amos of Grape Creek, Texas, Penny Waller (Randy) of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Margaret Ruthberg (Joe) of San Angelo, Texas, Daisy Harriss of San Angelo, Texas and Jennifer Winans of San Angelo, Texas; twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Valarie Fay Aulman and one sister, Bonnie Rich. Pallbearers will be Burton Waller, Wesley Campbell, Randy Waller, Anthony Lawhone, Joe Ruthberg and Dustin Banks. The Memorial Service will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Immanuel Baptist Church with Pastor Tommy Richardson officiating. Arrangements are by Harper Funeral Home.
