Connie Susan Sturm

Connie Sue Halfmann Sturm was born on May 15, 1952, in San Angelo, Texas and went to be with the Lord on March 27, 2018. She married Michael Sturm on July 29, 1972, in Wall, Texas. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother that loved gardening, maintaining her home, and most of all her husband, children, and grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, children Shelby Sturm of Pflugerville, Texas and Cody Sturm of San Angelo; brothers Gary Halfmann and wife Sherry, of San Angelo and Dale Halfmann of Wall, Texas; mother-in-law Rosalie Sturm of San Angelo; grandchildren Jaden Sturm of Denton, Texas, Madison Sturm of Grape Creek, Texas, Jace Stewart, Jaquori Sturm, Javian Polk, and Jaren Polk, all of Pflugerville, Texas; sisters-in-law Marilee Jost and husband Eugene of St. Lawrence, Texas, Ruby Braden and husband Michael of Wall, Texas, Brothers-in-law Kevin Sturm and wife Teresa of Wall,Texas, and Danny Wilde of Wall, Texas; also included are numerous nieces and nephews. Those preceding her in death are her parents E.A. and Dorothy Mae Halfmann, father-in-law Henry Sturm, sister-in-law Debbie Wilde, and a very special friend Patsy Schwertner. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, April 2, 2018, at St. Ambrose Church in Wall, Texas, with a rosary ceremony preceding the services at 9:30 AM. Burial will be in St. Ambrose Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special word of thanks to the staff of Brookdale who provided loving care to our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.
