Curtiss Wayne Rosinbaum

Curtiss Wayne Rosinbaum, 86, of San Angelo, Texas, passed away on June 18, 2018 in San Angelo. A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 am. Saturday, July 7, at the First United Methodist Church in San Angelo, with Reverend Scott Bradford officiating. Curtiss was born March 5, 1932 in Hawley, Texas to Robert Allen Rosinbaum Sr. and Fannie Reynolds Rosinbaum. He attended and graduated from the Eula schools, where he played basketball, was art manager for the annual, Most Handsome and Senior Class Favorite. After graduating high school, Curtiss attended Cisco Jr. College on a basketball scholarship and continued his education at McMurry University in Abilene, Texas. Curtiss married Patricia Ann Beasley Graham on April 27, 1963 in Trent, Texas. Curtiss was employed by Welex, a Halliburton Company as an engineer and office manager in Abilene, Texas and San Angelo, Texas. After retiring from Welex in 1986, Curtiss worked in real estate and was the manager and owner of Main Street Storage in San Angelo. Curtiss was an active member of the First United Methodist Church, where he sang in the Sanctuary Choir for 49 years. Curtiss was an avid golfer and a talented artist. Also, mechanically inclined, he was considered a "Mr. Fix-it." Curtiss is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia Rosinbaum of San Angelo; two sons, Daryl Rosinbaum of Waller, Texas, and Randy Graham and wife Leslie of Pecos, Texas; five grandsons, Jimmy Rosinbaum, Jeffrey Rosinbaum, Tye Graham and wife Stefanie, Trent Graham and wife Catherine, and Curtiss Trey Graham; two great­ grandchildren, Ella Graham and Sofia Graham. He is also survived by sister in law Kay Shaw of Fort Worth, many other family members, special golf buddies and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Fannie Reynolds Rosinbaum Sr., three brothers and one sister. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church Sanctuary Choir or a charity of your choice.
