Daniel James "Dan" West

Daniel James “Dan” West, 63, died of Cancer on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 in San Angelo, Texas. Dan is survived by Ellen West of Florence, OR; his son Nicholas West of Gainesville, FL, his step-daughter Heather Cours of San Angelo, his son-in-law Cody Cours, grandchildren Callie Cours and Alexis Cours; his family John West (Brother), Amber West, Alison (Inke), Puff, Collin, Dippy, Doug, Valerie, Pam, Lynn, Rupert and Ruffy West and many others that loved him. Dan was born on August 16, 1954 in Ashtabula, OH to parents James and Marge West. Dan was a great family man and a loving father. He married Ellen Hettrich and the couple had Nicholas West together. Dan always said it was the best day of his life when Nick was born. Dan was a social, active man who was deeply involved in Carpentry and Construction for the majority of his life. He enjoyed fishing, animals, music, and apple pie. His family and friends will always remember him as a loving and caring person.
