Dashia Renee Mcdonald-Sapenter

Dashia Renee McDonald Sapenter passed from this world on March 15, 2025. She entered this world on May 13, 1983, to Robert J. McDonald and Janet Lea Collins McDonald in San Angelo, TX. She was her Daddy’s buddy and her Momma’s co-conspirator. Dashia graduated first from Lake View High and then from Texas Tech University. In 2016, Dashia married Devin Sapenter of Seguin, TX. She was a wife, homemaker, and most of all, Mom to her beloved daughter, Charley Sapenter and stepson, Daylen Sapenter. Dashia is preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles R. & Connie McDonald, and C.B. & Shirley Collins of San Angelo, TX. Aunts and uncles, David & Charlene Payne, Hoarce & Leona Clark, Judy Coleman of San Angelo, TX; Calvin Collins of Waco, TX; and Gary Collins of Brownwood, TX. Dashia is survived by her husband, Devin Sapenter and daughter, Charly Sapenter of Liberty Hill, TX & stepson, Daylen Sapenter of Seguin, TX. Her parents, Robert & Lea McDonald of San Angelo, TX. Her brother, Bruce McDonald and his wife Lacey, and their sons, Tate and Tasen of Royce City, TX. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends across Texas, Arkansas, Nevada, Washington and beyond. She is also survived by her life-long friend, Lindsey Ashley Jost. Dashia’s smile lit up any room and made you feel welcomed. She was a kind soul and a good friend. Our world is greatly diminished without her. Dashia was an advocate for the organ donor program. The family requests that in lieu of flowers you register as an organ donor in her memory or donate to your local hospice. A celebration of Dashia’s life will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 1009 Humble Road, San Angelo, TX 76902.
