David Gene Ryan

David Gene Ryan, of San Angelo, Texas passed away peacefully at his residence, surrounded by family, on Sunday October 14th, following a lengthy illness. David was born in Bisbee, Arizona on April 30th, 1937 to Jack and Mabel Ryan. The family moved to Texas when David was a young boy. On April 20th, 1956 David married the love of his life, Mary Hasty, of San Angelo, and together they had six children, Karen, Sharon, Ron, Randy, Laurie and Roy. In 1973 they moved to Green River, WY where they lived until January of this year when David and Mary moved back to San Angelo. David loved to fish and hunt, to ride horses and to camp but most of all to spend time with his family. He dearly loved spending time with his wife, his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. He was loved by all and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his wife Mary, sons Ron (Kay), and Roy and daughters Sharon (Tom) Biamon and Laurie Ryan, eleven grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Harper Funeral Home. A graveside service will be Friday, October 19, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
