In Loving Memory of Debra "Debby" Clarise Eichman Lohman
September 9, 1954 – April 20, 2025
Debra "Debby" Clarise Eichman Lohman, born in Brownsville, Texas, on September 9, 1954, peacefully passed away on April 20, 2025, in Bronte, Texas. She was 70 years old.
The eldest of six children born to the late William and Barbara Zimmerman Eichman, Debby is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, David Wayne Lohman, Sr., whom she married on March 19, 1975—a union that stood as a testament to devotion, laughter, and lifelong companionship.
Debby is also survived by her siblings: Sandra Eichman of Flower Mound, Texas; Donna Eichman Martin and brother-in-law Jackie Martin of Irving, Texas; David Eichman of Bonham, Texas; Vicki Eichman Potts and brother-in-law Larry Potts of Brashear, Texas; and Joseph Eichman of Alvord, Texas.
She was a mother to three children: Phaedra Clarise Lohman Homuth and son-in-law Thomas Homuth; David Wayne Lohman, Jr.; and Barbie Marie Lohman Arthur and son-in-law Drake Arthur.
Debby adored her grandchildren: Alaura Homuth Jimerson and husband Laveren Jimerson, Jennifer Homuth, Rachelle Arthur, Abigail Arthur, and William Seemann III. Her joy extended into the next generation with her great-grandson, Jaden Jimerson.
Debby met David in 1972, and it was love at first sight. A proud Texan through and through, she never missed an opportunity to share her warmth and humor—like the time in Germany when she greeted locals with a cheerful “Guten Tag, y’all!” A dedicated Army wife, she supported David across many stations around the world, especially during their memorable years in Germany.
Her service extended beyond family—Debby gave her time as a volunteer dispatcher for the Nolanville Fire Department, a Girl Scout troop leader, and a Boy Scout Den Mother.
A lover of arts and crafts, Debby could often be found sewing wedding gowns and tuxedos for teddy bears and dolls, creating intricate name doodles, or tackling the latest cross search puzzle.
