Delia Casillas

Delia O. Flores Casillas, 68, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 in San Angelo. She was born August 20, 1947 in San Benito, Texas to Juan and Valentina Olmeda Flores. Delia married Frank Casillas in 1970 in Acuna, Mexico and they shared 35 years together before he preceded her in death in 2005. Delia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved cooking and spending time with her grandchildren, never missing a school event. She also enjoyed shopping and listening to music. Delia loved being very social and making friends. Her great strength and love for her family will always live on in our hearts. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Delia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank, one son, Jesse Casillas, and one sister, Estefana Flores. She is survived by her children, Sylvia Casillas, of Mereta, Tina Casillas, of San Angelo and Antonia Casillas, of San Angelo; her Grandchildren, Juan, Ashley and Dylan Esquivel and Angelica, Irma and Mario Rojo; her Brother, Bentura Flores and his wife Fausta, of San Angelo; her Sister Maria Flores and her husband Lupe Pena, of San Angelo; and Numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. A Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Friday, August 5, 2016 at Harper Funeral Home. The Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Dan Keen officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be Joe Pena, Alex Lopez, Juan Pena, Juan Esquivel, Jr., Juan Flores and Xavier Urteaga.
