Duke Monroe Richardson, Sr. was born to the late Laura Lee Merrill and J.C. Richardson on February 16, 1947 in San Angelo Texas. He expired on April 12, 2018 at home, where he resided with his wife Dianna Richardson. He loved his grandson Dwan Lynch for sticking by his side and for helping to take care of him. Duke’s love for God was evident in his daily life where he was often praying and reading his Bible. He worked at Kaiser Steel as a landscaper in California for 5 years. He graduated from Valley College in San Bernardino, CA where he served as a musician. He loved playing basketball in his community. He also graduated from Cosmetology school in San Bernardino, CA, where he became a hair dresser. He loved driving his Cadillac, and was a Lakers and Cowboys fan. You can see his love for his team in his home where he displayed his team throw blanket, slippers, jerseys, pants, shorts, hats, lamps, and sweat suits. He leaves his family to cherish his memory: Dianna Hall Richardson (Wife), Sarita Ferguson (Sister), Maude David (Sister), Ollie Dean Harris (Sister), Glenn Wyatt Robinson (Brother). He also leaves his children Duke Richardson, Jr., Aisha Richardson and Philliup Richardson. Grandchildren, Kimmekqah, Master and Greg Strigglers; Shearode Sheppard and Abdula Richardson; Erick Hall, Ericka Hall, Bertram Hall, Ikesha Hall, Phill Hall, and a host of other grandchildren, family, and friends. Duke is preceded in death by Eva Gail Robinson (Sister), Denver Ray Robinson (Brother), Jeffers Carl Robinson (Brother), Sally Dee Robinson (Sister.)
