Faye Robinson

Faye Robinson, 66, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 27, 2017. Faye passed away in her home in San Angelo, TX, unexpectedly of a heart attack. Although she was taken long before her family expected, she lived a full life. Faye was born in Poughkeepsie, NY in 1950 to Amie and Howard Robinson. She has made a tremendous impact on those who had the joy of knowing her. She offered an honest smile and fair price to those in need of transmission repair with her husband, Lou Carney at their Mr. Transmission in Nashville, TN. She provided love, mentorship and academic challenge to her students at East Nashville Christian School. Finally, she provided an empathetic ear and helping hand to her patients as a nurse at Shannon Clinic. Although her journey to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a nurse took a winding path with many stops and turns, her clients, students, and all those whose path she crossed are better because of knowing her. Faye is preceded in death by her parents, Amie and Howard Robinson, brothers, Kenneth Robinson, Gordon Robinson, and Carson Robinson, and sisters Vivian DiPompei and Andrea Robinson. She is survived by many friends and family who love and miss her dearly including her children and spouses, Chris and Eva Carney, Ben and Crystal Carney, and Julie Jensen. She also leaves grandchildren, Monique Carney, Aaron Carney, Benjamin S. Carney, Amber Carney, Rachel Carney, Karlee and husband, David Ross Blurton, Jr., Ben Carney, Jr., Brooklynn Jensen, and Louis Jensen, and two great-grandchildren Emmerie Lawson “Harley” Carney and David Ross “Tripp” Blurton III. Faye is also survived by sisters, Mariam Douglas and Phyllis Brink. Faye will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Faye’s memorial service will be held at Harper’s Funeral Home in San Angelo, TX on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 1:00 PM. All those wishing to pay their respects are welcome.
