Gary Wayne Goetz

Gary Wayne Goetz, age 76, peacefully passed away on April 18, 2024. Born on August 26, 1947, in San Angelo, TX, Gary was the son of Erwin and Melba Goetz. Gary served with pride in the Marines and was an active member of Immanuel Baptist Church

He was deeply loved and respected by the community he called home. His presence brought warmth and laughter to those around him, and he had a remarkable ability to uplift spirits with his infectious smile. Whether it was through a kind word or a playful joke, Gary had a gift for brightening anyone's day.

He is survived by his children Kimberly Turner (James), Stephanie Price (Chris), Cody Goetz (Carlee), and Amber Goetz, sister Peggy Milburn, and grandchildren Margaux Reynolds (Dillon), Madison Helton (Jon), Kristen Briggs (Dan), George "Dietz" Goetz, and Gretchen Goetz.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Erwin and Melba, and his sister Betty Morgan.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 5, 2024, at 2:30pm, at Immanuel Baptist Church.
