George Andrew Lowe

George Andrew Lowe, Jr. received his wings to Heaven in the early morning of January 22, 2021 at 2:22am. Proceeded in death his father: George Andrew Lowe, Sr.; Mother: Marie Marie Lowe; Stepmother: Eugenia Morgan-Lowe; Brother: Lonnie Anthony Lowe and Sister: Tammie Rene Donnell. George left to cherish his memory and love, his caring loving wife Shandra Lucas-Lowe of 15 years; Son: George Malik Lowe; Daughters: Jazmin Lowe, Jordan Lowe, La Tosha Lampkin and Andrea (Marcus) Lowe-Sanders; Sisters: Mary (Billy) Watson, Anna Taylor, and Debra (David) Freeman; Brothers: Marvin (Vickie) Lowe, Richard Lowe, and Cedric (Nelda) Lowe; Favorite Aunt Roversia Dickson; Sister-In-Laws: Shaval Grant of La Mesa, California and Vera (Gary) Dillard of Chattanooga, Tennessee and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. George graduated from Athens Texas in 1978 an after high school he enlisted into the US Army on August 23, 1983. He served in the Army: Desert Shield/Desert Storm Joint Forge SFOR 4/5, Bosnia-Hercegovina. He was stationed at the following bases: Schofield Barracks, Oahu, Hawaii 1983-1986; Ft. Bliss, El Paso, Texas 1986; Ray Barracks, Friedberg, Germany 1987-1991; Ft. Hood, Killeen, Texas 1992; Los Angeles Recruiting Battalion, Oxnard, California 1993-1997; Ft. Hood, Killeen, Texas 1997-1999; Camp Red Cloud Korea Uijeongbu, South Korea 1999-2000; and final duty station base: Brook Army Medical Center, San Antonio, Texas 2000-2003. George retired from the Army in 2003 as (SFC-retired Lowe). After retiring from the US Army, he worked for Ethicon, Inc. 2003-2005 as a temporary Kelly Services in Non-CFC for Cordis and worked as a Printing Technician. George was an active church member at Christian House of Prayer, San Angelo, Texas. He served as an usher and was administrator for Sonship of the First Born classes. The family expresses deep appreciation to Shannon Hospital 4th floor, nurse Angela Lassetter and ICU nurses.
