George Joseph Bean Iii

January 18, 1946 — October 1, 2024

George Joseph Bean III passed away peacefully with his family at his side on October 1, 2024 at the age of 78. George was the first born of 5 children to George Joseph Bean II and Betty Bean in Elizabeth, New Jersey on January 18, 1946. George proudly served in the US Air Force from January 18th 1964 to December 31st, 1967 as an intelligence analyst and later as an instructor at Goodfellow Air Force Base in San Angelo, TX. After his military career, he worked at Texas Test Fleet as a tire technician from 1981 until retirement in 2001. It was in San Angelo that he met the love of his life, Cyndy Ann Allen. True to the spirit of the day, Cyndy and George had a Halloween inspired wedding on October 31, 1986. They lived together in San Angelo for many wonderful years, raising a family and working fulfilling careers. George was the family handy man, enjoyed doing yard work and loved sitting on his back porch, tending to his many stray cats and he and Cyndy enjoyed the company of their many beloved pets. He was an avid baseball fan and spent many days on the field coaching little league baseball. George could be counted on to be there for his family or friends on moment’s notice and was fondly known as his mother-in-law’s “personal Uber driver.”

George will be remembered as a very kind-hearted and loving man. He leaves behind his beloved wife of nearly 38 years, Cyndy Bean; his sons Jann Bradley (Moria) Bean and Christopher (Amanda) Burkes; brothers Brad Bean, Brian Bean and Rory Bean; brothers-in-law Delbert (Michele) Allen, Gerald (Rose) Allen, and Craig (Christy) Allen; sisters-in-law Etta (Tim) Lane, Angela AllenMcCoy (James Mason), and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nephews and nieces. He is proceeded in death by his son, Samuel Lawson Bean, and his sister, Cindy (Bean) Fischer.

Per Georges wishes there will not be a viewing or services. In lieu of flowers the family requests to donate to favorite charity of choice.
