James William Turner was born December 10, 1949 to James E. Turner and Vivian (Gaskill) Turner in Kansas City, MO. He graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1969 and joined the Army Security Agency. He retired from the Army after serving 20 years where he was stationed at Fort Devens, South Korea, Hawaii, and San Angelo. Jim was a staunch libertarian and author of the ConchoInfo blog where he loved to bite the ankles of politicians. Computers, reading, and talking politics were passions for Jim. He leaves behind a sister, Susan Turner Miranti (Joseph) of Springfield, MO, a nephew, Aaron Sneegas (Beth) of Bristol, CT, two great-nieces, Lilian and Vivian Sneegas, special friend, Susan Keeling, Godchild June (Bug) Gunn, friends James McManus, Katherine McManus, and Jeff Keeling of San Angelo, TX. A memorial service is pending.
