Jeaner E. Royals-Davis age 80 , passed Monday, May 30, 2016 in San Angelo, TX Jean was born Jeaner Elizabeth Aron January 29, 1936 in Robbs, Mississippi to Elbert Theron Aron and Annice Jewel Lancaster. She married James H. Royals January 18, 1960 in New Orleans, LA. She got her GED as an adult in 1984 with her proud kids and grandkids there cheering her on. She has lived in Louisiana, Mississippi, Florida, Georgia, and Texas. She was known as Mamaw to many with affection and love. Mamaw loved to read, crochet, watch baseball and embroider. She also enjoyed wandering through Walmart and browsing (after applying her red lipstick). Jean loved Jesus with all her heart and enjoyed singing with her senior group "The Merry Makers.” Because of her compassionate heart Mamaw was always willing to drop everything to help others. Mamaw always had time for her grand and great grand babies. She had the special touch for getting them to sleep. Mamaw was also a champ at playing (or cheating at!) skip-bo. Jean is survived by her children, Wade Allen, Boh, DeLila, Mitch, Raymond and Annice, their families, as well as her 23 grand children and 40 great-grand children. She is also survived by her sisters Virginia Love and Fran Snyder. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James H. Royals, her granddaughter Tammy Royals, and her brothers Billy Aron, Wayne Aron, and Lamar Aron. Services will be Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Banks, Page, Theus Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00am to 11:00am with a service to follow. Reverend Mark Payne and Reverend Mitch Royals will be officiating. Pallbearers will be, Aaron Royals, Tommy Balthaser, Russell Balthaser, Jessie Royals, Mark Watson, and Scott Pinkelman. Jean will be buried next to her husband James, in Pine Level Cemetery in Oxford, FL Flowers can be received at Banks Page Theus Funeral Home at 410 Webster, Wildwood, FL 34785. Memorial donations can also be made to the American Diabetes Association. Mamaw was loved by many and will be missed by even more.
