Joshua Jack Fee

April 9, 1978 — February 5, 2018

Joshua Jack (Josh) Fee, 39, joined his Lord and Savior on February 5, 2018. He loved the Lord with every ounce of his being, adored his soul-mate Dawn, and beamed with pride over his kids, Jackson, Leah, and Kendyl. A passionate follower of Jesus, a fearless servant leader, a faithful and treasured father to not only his own children but to every child/student he came into contact with, a humble, forgiving and faithful friend, a fierce voice and advocate for the underprivileged, a broken man made whole because of the blood of Jesus, a man that not only proclaimed the gospel but intentionally lived it out every second of every day, a man that loved others fiercely—a man that leaves a gaping hole in each of our hearts! A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 10 at Immanuel Baptist Church. Josh was born April 9th, 1978 in Pueblo, Colorado to William “Bill” and Reta Chapman Fee. Josh graduated from Cisco High School in 1996 and attended Wayland Baptist University on a baseball scholarship. He fell in love and married his beautiful bride, Dawn Rankin, on June 3rd, 2000. He graduated from Wayland Baptist in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. After graduation, he worked as a teacher/coach, coaching basketball, baseball, cross country, & track at Cotton Center, Garden City, Rankin and most recently, Jackson’s basketball team, the San Angelo Saints. During his teaching & coaching career, he filled in as a pastor in Garden City and was the Associate Pastor/Youth Minister at First Baptist Church in Rankin. For the past 7 years, Josh served at Immanuel Baptist Church as the Youth Minister/Education Minister and was pursuing his Masters of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He was involved in the Concho Valley Homeless Coalition, Christian Women’s Job Corp, Concho Valley Baptist Association, Helping Hands, Praying Pelicans Missions in Belize for the last 3 years, as well as numerous youth activities such as Super Summer, Impact/Disciple-Now, mission trips, camps, and spring retreats. He was the leader and cornerstone of his Missional Community—the body of Christ seeking to live out the gospel every day we have breath on this earth. He was preceded in death by his mother, Reta Chapman Fee and his dad William “Bill” Fee. He is survived by the love of his life, Tamara “Dawn” Fee, his children Jackson, Leah & Kendyl Fee and special “adopted” daughters Ceci & Ale Hernandez, mother and father-in-law, Jack & Beverly Rankin, brothers Billy and Joe Fee, sisters Carla Allen and LeaAnn McDaniel, sisters-in-law Jacque Rankin, Leslie Law, Mariah Peebles, Valerie Fuchs, and Amanda Cramer, numerous nieces & nephews, countless extended family members and friends, an amazing youth group, and a missional community family. Special thank you to all the friends and family for all the prayers covering this family. In lieu of flowers, you may make donations to Immanuel Baptist Church attention Thrive youth ministry or San Angelo Saints basketball team. Well done, good and faithful servant! “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:7-8
