Karon Cox

Karon Faye Cox 72, of San Angelo went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday May 3, at her residence. Memorial Service was held on Saturday May 5 at Fairmount Cemetery. Arrangements made by Harper Funeral Home. Karon was born December 21, 1944 in Plainview Texas to Bedford Robert Johnson and Mary Young Johnson. Karon worked as a bookkeeper and floral designer. Her life was defined by her deep relationship with her Lord Jesus Christ. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She touched the lives of many, friends, family, and stranger with her love, compassion, and generosity. She truly will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Karon was preceded in death by Bedford Robert Johnson, Mary Young Johnson and her twin sister Sharon Johnson Padgett. Survivors include her son Jerry Don Bowden; granddaughter Kali Elizabeth Bowden; sister Debbie Hill Neutze; brother Kenneth Johnson; nieces Cheryl Morris, Theresa Johnson Schader, and Desiree Neutze; nephews Russell Neutze and Russell Neutze Jr.
