Lorna Beth Campbell Nakayama

Lorna Beth Campbell Nakayama, age 84, passed away on November 2, 2024, at her home. She was born on September 17, 1940, in Texarkana, TX to Clyde Campbell and Billye Black Campbell.

One of Lorna’s favorites and most passionate things to do was taking care of her dogs and cats, especially her dog Foxy which she loved very much. She also loved doing crossword puzzles and going shopping. She loved her family very much and they will deeply miss her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Billye Campbell; her twin sons, Eugene and Jody Richardson; sister, Jane Orosco; niece, Brenda Altman; great granddaughter, Abigail Elkin. She is survived by her children, Jerri Vasquez and her husband Jose, Michelle Butler and her husband Mark, Michael Nakayama and his wife Akiko and Sherry Sheeks; grandchildren, Nolan Elkin and wife Tamina, Shannon Qusenberry and husband Marcus, Kristen Muzic and husband Johnny, Takoda Butler, Mia and Julia Nakayama, Nicole and Shawn Mancera; great grandson Kevin Elkin; sister Kerry Campbell-Dausener as well as many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

There will be a Celebration of Life held on November 26, 2024 at Grape Creek Baptist Church at 11:00 AM.
