Michael Bruce Vallandingham

Michael Bruce Vallandingham, age 68, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024 at his home on Lake Amistad here in Del Rio. He was born on January 19, 1956in San Angelo, Texas.

Michael enjoyed riding dirt bikes. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. His favorite game to play was "Farkle". Michael was a brick and rock mason who owned his own business for over 30 years in the San Angelo area. He and his late wife Cherry loved to dance. She was the love of his life.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Ella and Bruce Vallandingham; and wife of 35 years, Cherry Vallandingham.

Family members left to cherish his memory include his only daughter, Stacey Phillips and husband Michael T. Phillips of San Angelo, Texas; sisters, Mary Ann Parsons and husband Mike Parsons of Waco, TX, Irene Walter and Don Walter of San Angelo, TX, and Linda Bennett and Charles Bennett of Dallas, TX; grandsons: Kirkland Phillips, Zachary Phillips, and Trey Phillips; great granddaughter, Paisley Vance; Michael is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. The family would also like to recognize his close friend, Will Watson of San Angelo.

A memorial service will be held at Harper Funeral Home on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 11:00am.
