Millard Dewitt, Jr.

Our beloved son, brother, uncle and friend passed from this earthly life to his Heavenly home on Sunday, January 28, 2018. He was born December 19, 1932 in Gonzales County, Texas. He attended Blackshear School in San Angelo. He was a truck driver for fifty years. He was also an ordained minister. He had a very full and happy life. The beloved family members that preceded him in death were his parents, Millard and Maeola DeWitt; sister, Marie and brothers, Langston DeWitt and Willie DeWitt. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving sister, Iris Evans, two brothers, Floyd DeWitt and special friend, Margaret Hall, and DeLarnce De Witt and his wife Billie, and a sister-in-law, Dorethea DeWitt, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. on Friday, February 2, 2018 at Harper Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. on February 3, 2018 at Gethsemane The Garden Missionary Baptist Church, with burial to follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
