Nancy J. Howell

Nancy Juanita Jones Howell, devoted wife of 65 years, loving mother, adoring grandmother, and cherished Aunt passed away on Saturday, March 18, after a brief illness. Nancy was born to Alfred Eli Jones and Lydia Ann Willoughby on December 11, 1928 in San Angelo, Texas. She graduated from San Angelo High School, and was part of the class of 1946. She married John Howell on September 21, 1946 in San Angelo, Texas. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband John, parents Alfred and Lydia Jones, six brothers and sisters. Nancy is survived by Tobe Mackay of Fort Worth, Mitzi and Larry Casey of San Angelo, Julie and Chuck Gunter of Katy, Tim and Rebecca Howell of Houston and Angela Howell of San Angelo. Nancy is also survived by six grandchildren, Christie Fore and Elizabeth Rawson of Fort Worth. Lydia Mackay of Dallas. Sarah Burleson of Austin, Emily Gunter of Katy, and Morgan Howell of Houston. Three great grandchildren and one great, great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews. A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Fairmount Cemetery, with Rev. Charles Greenwell officiating.
