Paul Lovelace Draper

Paul L. Draper III passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2016. Paul was born in Tahoka, Texas on September 28, 1948 to Paul and Mildred Draper. The family moved to San Angelo where he grew up and graduated from Central High School. After graduating high school Paul joined the Navy to serve during the Vietnam War. Paul received the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with Three Bronze Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon during his two tours of duties in the Vietnam War. After serving in Vietnam Mr. Draper came back to San Angelo and went to work for GTE as a cable splicer. He would go on to work for GTE for the next thirty years before retiring. Paul is survived by his donut shop buddies along with many other close friends and extended family. A Visitation will be held at Harper Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Sunday, November 20, 2016.
