Rebecca Vada Miller

Rebecca Vada (Christian) Miller, of Houston, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 16, 2024, at the age of 76. She was born January 18, 1948, in Beckley, West Virginia to the parents of James and Irma (Johnston) Christian (both deceased). She is survived by her children David Crawford, Sandra Mosley, and Steven Johnston. Her grandchildren Jessica (Crawford) Steffy, and her husband Richard Steffy, Tasha (Crawford) Calder, Chrystal Mosley, Derek Johnston, and Gregory Johnston, Her Greatgrandchildren, Ryann Steffy, Collin Steffy, Jordynn Steffy, Jonathan Calder, Aries Johnston, Jade Johnston, Schyler Johnston, Jayce Delamontte, Zayden Johnston, Aiden Johnson, Marilyn Johnston, and Gregory Johnston Jr.

She has four siblings Barbara (Christian) Brewer and her husband Larry Brewer of Indiahoma Oklahoma, John Thomas Spencer of Nevada, Debra (Christian) Leffler of Lawton Oklahoma, and Terry Lee Spencer of Delaware. She had 20 nieces and nephews. She was loved by many friends and was involved in the church.

Becky became a mother at a young age, put herself through night school and had always worked hard to provide for her children she dearly loved. Becky liked to go camping, fishing, and dancing. Even after being confined to a wheelchair, she would speak of wanting to dance with her great grandchildren. She is now dancing before the Lord.

A celebration of her life will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Harper Funeral Home with Chunky Nelms officiating.

“You have turned for me my mourning into dancing. You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness. To the end that my glory may sing praise to you and not be silent. O Lord, my God, I will give thanks to you forever. “
