Regina S. Kane

Regina S. Kane, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on August 20, 2024, at the age of 73. Born on August 4, 1951, in Altus, OK. Regina lived a life marked by love, dedication, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life.

Regina graduated from Reagan County High School in 1970 and went on to marry her high school sweetheart, Lee Kane, on May 2, 1971. Following their marriage, Regina and Lee made their home in Big Lake, where Regina began her career as a bookkeeper for Kane Construction. She later worked for various car dealerships, always bringing a diligent and cheerful spirit to her work.

Regina was passionate about hummingbirds, butterflies, and traveling. Her greatest joy, however, was her family. She treasured the time spent with her children and grandchildren, and her love for them was boundless.

Regina was preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Betty Siegenthaler, her two brothers, Lynn and Tate Siegenthaler, and her sister Denise Golson. She is survived by her husband, Prestidge Lee Kane of San Angelo, TX; her children Cody Kane and wife Shelly of Hillister, TX, and Eric Chase Kane and wife Nicki of Leesville, LA; and eight grandchildren: Alexys Kane, Cutter Kane, Ashlyn Kane, Breandon Kane, Makinley Kane, Gracie Kane, Tanner Briers, and Haley Gilder, as well as seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Mahonna Gunnels and her husband Robert of Big Lake, TX, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Regina will be remembered for her kindness, her vibrant spirit, and her unwavering love for her family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

The Memorial Service will be 3:00P.M. Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Harper Funeral Home.
