Reuben Walter Neste

Reuben Walter Neste, 75, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 in San Angelo. Reuben was born July 27, 1943 in Grand Forks, North Dakota to Reuben G and Blanche Danielson Neste. Reuben grew up in Grand Forks and after high school served his country honorably in the United States Navy. He married Susan Ludowese on February 8, 1964 and they shared 54 beautiful years of marriage together and raised three children. Over the years, Reuben and his family lived in North Dakota, California and Florida and relocated to San Angelo in 2002. Reuben worked as a refrigeration mechanic for many years and then started his own handyman business retiring in 2000. In his spare time, he enjoyed bass fishing and loved wood working. Reuben was very talented with his hands and could fix or remodel anything. He was a loving husband and father who devoted his life to his family and loved spending time with them. His life and love for his family will remain in our hearts forever and we will dearly miss him! Reuben was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving family wife, Dr. Susan L. Neste, of San Angelo; his children, Andrea Sue Neste, of San Angelo, Christopher Michael Neste and his wife Lori, of Grand Forks, ND, and Tyler Joseph Neste of San Angelo. He is also survived by one grandson, Brian Neste, of Grand Forks, ND. No services will be held in honor of Reuben's final wishes. The family requests that donations be made to your favorite charity.
