Rev. Dan Adams

Rev. Dan Adams, 85, of San Angelo died Monday July 23,2018. A visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00pm Monday July 30 at Harper Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Tuesday at Harper Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at 4:00 pm in the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene. Rev. Adams was born July 20, 1933 in Dallas to Fred and Lola Adams. Dan enjoyed participating in Boy Scouts as a young man as well as leadership capacities when he became an adult. Rev. Adams served proudly in the United States Army during the Korean War where during his service he received the Purple Heart. His duty in the service later led Dan to his calling in the Ministry. He was a United Methodist Minister for many years. Dan also enjoyed and pursued his talents in poetry and photography. Survivors include his wife Dee Ann Adams, three sons Dean Rogers, Mark Adams and Paul Adams, one daughter Karen Still and numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
