Robert Gary Magill

May 4, 1978 — April 2, 2025

Robert Gary Magill, 46, passed away on April 02, 2025. Born on May 04, 1978, in San Angelo, Texas to Marilyn Rebecca Magill (predeceased 2006). Robert is survived by his Sister Suzanne Magill (Buena Vista, CO), Aunt Carolyn “Shiloh” Magill (Denver, CO), “Auntie Laura” Elms (San Angelo, TX), “Uncle Jimmy” James Renfro (David, Panama) and brother-in-law James Coleman (Buena Vista, CO).

Robert grew up in San Angelo, Texas, attending Cornerstone Christian School. He spent his early years exploring the family ranch and camping with Boy Scout Troop 44, eventually earning Eagle Scout honors. After leaving San Angelo, Rob lived across the United States in Midland, Vail, Denver, San Diego, Boston, Kansas City and Tucson and internationally in Costa Rica and Nicaragua.

Rob possessed an infinitely curious mind and patient determination that served him well in his home renovations, carpentry, and automotive repair projects. Rob was a perpetual learner, eagerly researching the roots of how things functioned while honing his skills as a craftsman. Each result of Rob’s endeavors became a unique expression of his skill, care, and meticulous attention to detail. Rob worked as partners with his best friend and sister Suzanne, running a real estate business in Colorado.

Though the Magill family is small- Rob’s extended family and network of friends span the globe, each touched by his kindness and generosity. We will forever remember his mischievous nature, keen wit and contagious laughter. While Rob was a giant in stature, he operated with quiet humility and carried inside him a gentle and caring heart that will be painfully missed.

Safe travels Robbie. Our love for you goes on forever……
