Roberto "Bobby" Garcia Jr.

Roberto Garcia Jr. 68, of San Angelo died Saturday February 4, 2017 at his residence. Family visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday at Harper Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday February 7, at the Harper Funeral Home Chapel with James Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in Miles Cemetery. Mr. Garcia was born September 20, 1948 in San Angelo to Roberto and Hilda Steinbrecker. Bobby served Honorably in the U.S Navy during the Vietnam War He worked at Verizon for many years and later for Shirley Floral. He married Mary Anna Pippin February 22, 1974 in San Angelo. Bobby was preceded in death by his mother and father a granddaughter Amber Nicole Karr, and a nephew William Edward Necessary. Survivors include his wife Mary Garcia, a daughter Brandy Lee Ford, a son Jonathon Christopher Garcia, four grandchildren Samantha Leann Garcia, Robert Wayne Ford, Kaitlyn Ford, Kirsten Ford, four great grandchildren Jonathon Lee Garcia, Benjamin Garcia, Deegan Burris, Amber Nicole Ford, two sisters Linda Ugalde, Mona Diaz, two brothers-in-law Gerald W Pippin, William E Pippin, and a sister-in-law CoraLenna Rogers.
