Rosa Maria Martinez

Rosa Maria Martinez, 67, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 4, 2016 in San Angelo. Rosa was born June 5, 1948 in Guadalajara, Mexico. She was one of nine children. Rosa worked at Good Fellow AFB as a housekeeping technician Supervisor for over twenty years. She was a loving homemaker who enjoyed cooking, especially spicy food, and loved embroidery and making all sorts of items. Rosa also enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and also loved watching soccer.She also loved her dogs, “Pepper, “Chuco” and “Lucas. ” Rosa was a caring person who always went out of her way to help others. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Rosa was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. She is survived by her loving family, husband Marciano Garza, Sr., of San Angelo; her step children, Marciano Garza, Jr. and his wife Yolanda, of San Angelo, Marcus Garza, and his wife Gretel, of San Angelo, Norma Lee Garcia, of Virginia Beach VA., Irma Garza Stewart and her husband Greg, of Corpus Christi, TX., and Jessica Graves and her husband Freddie, of San Angelo; 16 Grandchildren; 13 Great Grandchildren; 2 Sisters; and 5 Brothers. The Prayer Service will be 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Harper Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be 10:00 A.M, Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Harper Funeral Home with Domingo Lopez officiating. Interment will follow at Fairmount Cemetery.
