Ruth S Snyder

Ruth Snyder was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world on August 15, 2022, at the age of 65. Her battle with cancer displayed her ability to remain courageous and full of faith in the midst of life’s challenges. Ruth was born in Robstown, Texas to Isaac and Eustolia Salas. As the oldest daughter, she was a second mother to her eleven siblings and all those around her. After graduating from Ray High School in 1975, she received an associate degree from Del Mar College in Corpus Christi. Ruth married Randy in 1987, and they moved to Houston and later San Angelo. Loved by all, Ruth will be remembered fondly by the many people whose lives she touched. Whether through the delicious meals she made, parties she hosted, or church involvement and volunteer work, her impact on the community will last for many years to come. In addition to dark chocolate, Cher’s music, and European travel, she loved being surrounded by and caring for others. Ruth is survived by her husband, Randy; children, Thomas (Sara), Michael (Chelsea), Lindsay, and Rachel (Jay); grandchildren, Ramona and Penelope; and many siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family would welcome donations to the Angelo State University Catholic Newman Center A visitation is scheduled for 6 pm on August 18, 2022, at Harper Funeral Home in San Angelo, TX with a rosary to follow at 7 pm. A funeral mass will be held at 10 am on August 19, 2022, at Holy Angels Catholic Church. A memorial service and burial will be at 11 am on August 20, 2022, at Seaside Memorial Park in Corpus Christi, TX.
