Sawyer Wyatt Letcher, “Sawyer Brown”, 19, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 26, 2017 in Tyler, Texas. Sawyer was born, February 25, 1998 in San Angelo, Texas to Jerry Ray and Keri Ann Williams Letcher. Sawyer was a loving son, grandson, brother and nephew, who loved his family and spending time with them. From a young age, he was an avid reader and a tenacious learner. We literally could not provide him with enough reading material. He also enjoyed listening to music, watching movies, and watching YouTube videos on every subject under the sun. Consequently, his favorite place to go when he was younger was Hastings, where he could enjoy everything he loved most in one place. He would even help and recommend movies, books, and music to strangers. Sawyer was a talker and deep thinker. Sawyer also had a love for learning about the Lord Jesus and spirituality in general. He loved the staff at The Garden and all members who loved on him and modeled Jesus well to and for him. Sawyer will be unimaginably missed by all who knew, mentored, counseled, debated, and loved him! This boy was loved with so many dots! Sawyer is survived by his Mother, Keri Letcher and James Womack; his Father, Jerry Letcher; his Sister Kenzie Letcher; his Grandparents, Darla Nichols, David Williams and wife Kathy, Jeanie Muckle and her husband David; his two Aunts, Leslie Reyes and her Husband Eric and their children, Aiden and Foster Reyes and Heather and Allen Dove and their daughter, Garin. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and close friends. Our song to Sawyer Brown is By Your Side by Tenth Avenue North. Why are you striving these days Why are you trying to earn grace Why are you crying Let me lift up your face Just don't turn away Why are you looking for love Why are you still searching As if I'm not enough To where will you go child Tell me where will you run To where will you run 'Cause I'll be by your side wherever you fall In the dead of night whenever you call And please don't fight these hands that are holding you My hands are holding you Look at these hands at my side They swallowed the grave on that night When I drank the world's sin So I could carry you in And give you life I want to give you life And I'll be by your side wherever you fall In the dead of night whenever you call And please don't fight these hands that are holding you My hands are holding you Here at my side wherever you fall In the dead of night whenever you call And please don't fight these hands that are holding you My hands are holding you 'Cause I, I love you I want you to know That I, yeah I'll love you I'll never let you go, no, no And I'll be by your side wherever you fall In the dead of night whenever you call And please don't fight these hands that are holding you My hands are holding you Here at my side wherever you fall In the dead of night whenever you call And please don't fight these hands that are holding you My hands are holding you Here at my side, my hands are holding you Ohhh...
