Our beloved Teddy Harold Brown laid his earthly burdens down on Thursday, April 27th, 2017. Teddy was born in San Angelo on the 17 of July, 1946. Although stricken with polio at a young age, Teddy was a fighter. He fought his way out of an iron lung and continued to fight until he was free of the cumbersome braces that held him back. He graduated from Central High School where his twinkling blue eyes and winning smile garnered him many friends. His loves of photography and music enhanced his days at Nathan's and made him a valuable resource during his time there. Teddy also loved antique cars and founded an antique car club in San Angelo. He led many road trips to rallies and shows as well as helping organize their events on behalf of others. Teddy retired after thirty-five years from J & J's Ethicon facility in San Angelo. Teddy was preceded in death by his parents, Edith and Harvey Brown. He is survived by his wife, Candy; his sister and her husband, Vonda and Will Wilde; his brother and his wife, Sherrell and Jerri Brown. Teddy also leaves behind two sons Lance with his wife Jen and Cory. Step-children Melissa and hubby Randy Zamzow, Matthew Minton and wife Virginia, and James Minton also mourn his passing. Teddy has eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren as well as 8 nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Teddy’s life will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Glynn Dunn officiating. Family and friends may share condolences and sign the online register book at www.harper-funeralhome.com.
