Tommie Lee Johnson

Tommie Lee Johnson, 71, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 24, 2019 in San Angelo. Tommie was born January 30, 1948 in Marlin, Texas to Joe Bailey Johnson and Mae Bell Hunter Johnson. Tommie worked as a food service employee at Goodfellow Air Force Base in Civil Service for over 30 years. He married Pilar Bustamante on March 7, 2018 in San Angelo, Texas. Tommie was a loving brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. His favorite hobbies were fishing, watching westerns and Dallas Cowboys football on television and listening to his music. Tommie also loved to laugh and loved joking around with everyone. His life love and laughter will live on in our hearts forever. Tommie was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers, Joe Bailey Johnson, Jr, DeWayne Johnson and Ray Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Pilar Johnson, of San Angelo; his children, Juan Vasquez, Monica Torres, Catalina Vasquez, Patricia Vasquez, Angelina Vasquez and Anthony Matthews; his grandchildren, Dominique Lorraine Marie Vasquez, Louis Delgado, Miamaraiah Vasquez, Consuelo Pilar Lopez, Faith Pruitt, Zabella Le, Alyssa Reyes, Daniel Mata, Marisol Guadalupe Vasquez, Mariposa Grace Vasquez Ponce, Eloy Vasquez Ponce, Jr., Ricardo Miguel Canales Vasquez, Canaan Matthews and Markquest Matthews; his sisters, Carolyn Newton, Edna Cannon, Betty Gibbs and Gladys Johnson; his Brother, Elvis Johnson; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and close friends. The Funeral Service will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Harper Funeral Home with Pastor Noe Hernandez officiating. Interment will follow at Belvedere Memorial Park.
