Vickie Elaine Schofield came into this world on March 24, 1957 in Fort Worth, Texas and went on to the next chapter on Thursday, September 28, 2017. Her parents were Betty Lou Alexander and Alex Alexander. Vickie grew up in San Angelo and graduated from Central High School. After high school, Vickie worked as a designer and florist at her mother’s flower shop, Freeland Florist. She eventually became the owner of Freeland Florist. Vickie owned and operated it for 23 years until its closing in 2009. Vickie was a young entrepreneur, and started Yesterday’s Treasures antique shop which she took great pleasure in owning and operating for 10 years as well. Vickie married the love of her life, Mike Schofield on June 12, 1976 and they shared 41 wonderful years together. They raised two beautiful daughters, Christie Michelle and Patricia Michelle. Vickie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who devoted her life to her family. Even though she had numerous business’s, her family always came first. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her! Vickie was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, David Parkin. She is survived by her husband Mike Schofield, of San Angelo; her daughters, Christie Reynolds and her husband Bill, of San Angelo and Patricia Reynolds and her husband Ethan, of San Antonio; her Grandchildren, Tristian Hicks, Ian Reynolds, Bryan Reynolds, Sadie Reynolds, Justin Reynolds, Noah Sanchez, Mackenzie Reynolds and Brooklyn Reynolds. She is also survived by her great granddaughter, Isabella Hicks. The Graveside Service will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Fairmount Cemetery with Father Stan Burdock officiating. Memorials may be made to hospice of San Angelo, 37 E. Twohig, Suite 1100, San Angelo, Texas 76903.
