Weldon Barron

Weldon Barron was born on January 29, 1941, and passed away on June 13, 2024, at the age of 83 after a brief battle with Leukemia. He was born in San Angelo and raised in Wall, Texas. He was preceded in death by parents Clyde and Gladys Barron, brother Clyde Jr, nephew Rusty Barron and sister Doris Miller.

He is survived by his son, Randy and wife Diana Barron, daughter Becky and husband Donnie Lee, grandchildren Dakota and wife Shayla Lee and Ciera Lee and great grandchildren Layla and Daityn Lee, brother RD and wife Mary Dell Barron, nephews Ricky and Paula Barron and Kevin and Lisa Barron and two nieces Cathy and Michelle and many longtime friends.

He was a rifle sharpshooter in the Army National Guard. He was an advocate for everything San Angelo Being the Sr Vice President and Cashier for Central National Bank for many years and Tom Green County Personnel Director. He loved fund raising events, especially his involvement and longtime service with the East Angelo Lions Club for over 50 years. He was always ready for Rodeo time to cook burgers and the pancake breakfast.

There will be a Celebration of Life at Harper Funeral Home in San Angelo on Thursday June 20 at 10:00 am. Followed by a private family burial.
